Measure for Pants

WHY GOING BY JEAN SIZE DOESN'T WORK: Click HERE to Find Out

Measuring is very important for a proper fit in our custom-made softball pant program, because if you ask for a 36, we make a 36. So if you're really a 40 -- it's going to be tight.

Waist Circumference (VERY IMPORTANT)

BEST WAY to get the right waist size for your softball pants is to take a pair of pants that fit like you want. Lay them flat, and measure across the waist. Double it, and order that size.

Or if you want to actually measure: Place the measuring tape around the body at the waistline where you normally wear your pants. Pull the measuring tape so it fits to your body, but don't pull it tight. Give yourself a little room based on how you like your pants to fit. We'll make them to the exact size selected --- so if your weight tends to fluctuate, take that into account.

Inseam Length

The Black Labels are designed with open bottoms to go down onto and over your turf shoes or cleats.

Remove your shoes, and measure on the inside of the leg, from the crotch of your pant to the floor.

Measure both legs & give us the longer one. The fit of the pant ordered will be designed for these measurements. The exact measurement based on this will give you a pant that gathers at the top of your cleat.

If you want more or less "gathering", then adjust accordingly.

Rover's Black Label softball (baseball) pants are baggy and relaxed through the thigh and butt... Follow these guidelines to get a great fitting softball pant.

NOTE: These measurement guidelines are designed for the "average" player. If your body type is outside of the typical player's, please adjust your measurements accordingly, to get a proper fit.

Measure for Shirts

In any shirt, there is some variance in the measurements of the finished shirts so if you are concerned about your fit and you're on the cusp of ordering one size or the other, keep that in mind. The following measurements are our specifications:

WHY GOING BY JEAN SIZE DOESN'T WORK WHEN ORDERING PANTS: (Back to Top)

Jean companies (and most pant manufacturers) often size up the waist on their pants. (The label says 36 but the pant waist measures 38 or even 40.)

Check this out: Lay them flat and measure across the waist and compare it to the tag and then to your ACTUAL waist measurement --- double that number to get the true waist measurement, and you'll probably be surprised at the difference.

And this is why measuring is so important for a proper fit in our custom-made softball pant program, because if you ask for a 36, we make a 36. So if you're really a 40 -- it's going to be tight.

Seems like a No-Brainer but please Measure Carefully.

Rover will always accept returns for any manufacturer's defects, but we cannot accept returns due to improper fit for custom products such as Rover's Black Label softball pants. ("I put on extra weight from eating pizza and drinking beer." is not a valid reason for returning a custom-fitted pant.
