Why Email? Why not just call?

Most of our staff handle multiple functions, whether that's taking phone orders, packing softball gear, handling production or whatever. Generally, it is more efficient for our staff to devote blocks of time throughout the day to address emails quickly and effectively, than it is to handle each individual phone request as it comes in.

During busy times, but it's not unusual for the number of calls to exceed our ability to answer. So we prefer email when that's possible, so that we can appropriately route your request or question to the right person with an answer. Saves us time, saves you time, and gets you the quickest response possible. (If for some reason, you are not receiving a response within 48 hours, email Jim ( ) and he'll make sure you get a response.

Get the Best Customer Service: By the way, here's a tip on how to obtain the best possible service, whether by phone, email, fax, smoke signals, it really doesn't matter: Be nice. We're nice people (really) and we want to help you out (really) and we like to make customers happy (really.) When you're nice, we'll bend over backwards to make it happen for you. If you're not nice, the gloves are off.

Telephone

We do realize that for some questions, a phone call is the most efficient way to handle it -- and we're all for that. You have a couple of telephone options:

1) Send an email. (Yes, we know, this is about telephone calls but bear with us!) Let us know a telephone number and a 2-3 hour block of time to call and we'll call you. Saves your dime and helps us on our time.

2) Call Rover at 817-562-5300. Office hours are Mon - Fri 9:00 to 5:00 Central time. Best is to call before Noon. We try to answer all calls personally, but we are extremely busy. If you get the dreaded message machine, leave a short message with your first and last name, your telephone number and (briefly) why you're calling. Mention if you're a team order, as teams generally take more time and so will get preferential timing on the call back. Production and Shipping are typically 5-6 days a week.

Fax

We use a special fax system that organizes and forwards faxes to the various folks who need to handle them. This system is compatible with 99% of the fax machines out there, but we do hear that sometimes people can't get a confirmation that the fax went through. Email if you're unsure.
